Friday 9 January 2009 at the Auditorium Enzo Biagi of the Urban Center Bologna the architectural magazine Domus organize the meeting BOLOGNA: NUOVA STAZIONE, CITTÀ, ARCHITETTURA. I progettisti incontrano la città.
At the end of the exhibition of the projects for the new Bologna station, Urban Center Bologna and the magazine Domus, with the patronage of the Ferrovie dello Stato group, the collaboration of the Municipality of Bologna and with the contribution of the Carisbo Foundation, invite the city to a confrontation with the designers who participated in the final phase of the international design competition for the new Bologna Central station.
During this meeting Marco Scarpinato / AutonomeForme will present the project elaborated in team with Cruz y Ortiz.
The 10 architectural offices that will present their projects are: Boeri Studio; Cruz Y Ortiz; Ingenhoven Arkitekten; Isozaki Italy; MVRDV; Ricci & Spaini; Souto De Moura; UnStudio and 5 + IAA. The meeting, moderated by Flavio Albanese and Stefano Casciani (respectively Director and Deputy Director of Domus magazine), therefore aims to discuss the projects for the New Station of Bologna not only from different disciplinary and professional points of view, but opening the debate to all citizens.
